ISVS Fellowship Training Opportunities

The ISVS fellowship program was established to offer members an opportunity to acquire training in endoVascular Surgery that they would not otherwise be able to obtain in their own institution / training program.

Some are intended for relatively inexperienced trainees and will offer a broad introduction to the principles and practice of endovascular therapy. Others are intended for more senior trainees or for those who have completed their training in Vascular Surgery. These will offer comprehensive training in all aspects of endovascular therapy and/or specific training in complex interventions such as CAS, EVAR and Subintimal Angioplasty.
 
Currently we have fellowships at the following institutions: (Membership is required).
Opening at AZ Saint-Blasius, Dendermonde, Belgium - October 2012. Deadline to apply is June 30, 2012.
Opening at Cleveland Clinic, USA - October 2012. Requires a J-1 VISA. Failure to produce a J-1 VISA will result in rejection of application. You must be ECFMG certifiedl. Deadline to apply is June 30, 2012.
Opening at Hospital Clinic, Barcelona, Spain - January 2012. Deadline to apply September 15, 2011.
Opening at San Gerardo Teaching Hospital, University of Milan, Italy - April - June 2012. Deadline to apply is January 15, 2012.

Joan L. and Dr. Julius H. Jacobson, II Promising Investigator Awards

Through a generous contribution made by Joan L. and Dr. Julius H. Jacobson II, every year The International Society for Vascular Surgery will award one junior members, $1,000, for research projects on "Vascular Biology and/or Microcirculation" to acknowledge their work.
